Hannah Lash Boutique

This project was a collaborative effort with JQ Architects under the joint name LQ Designs, bringing the client’s vision of a luxurious, spa-like lash boutique to life. Situated on a bustling street near Victoria Market and RMIT University, the boutique was designed to be a reclusive escape from the city's fast pace. As the first in a planned franchise, the space needed to embody the visions of the owner to be an elegance, tranquility, and comforting space.

My approach focused on crafting a sensory experience, considering scent, touch, sight, and sound. A warm, neutral palette of soft beiges with light oak textures, avoided a clinical feel, while a contrast in textures on the wall and incorporation of greenery in the joinery brough a breath of fresheness. A key challenge was maximizing the boutique’s compact footprint, as it also hosted lash extension classes on weekends, requiring a flexible yet functional space. The result is a chic yet serene retreat, offering clients a pampering escape from the energy of the city.
